As the director of a combined school and public library, Jody Wacker works with a variety of educators and professionals to create engaging and innovative programming for Meinders Community Library. Over the past three years, events hosted by the library have garnered two Evy Nordley Awards, as well as a nation-wide grant from State Farm. Funds from these awards have only fueled the library's unique offerings, making Meinders Library a community hub. Tapping into the escape room craze was a natural next step for Wacker, where she combines her love of mysteries and her passion for education to create hands-on learning opportunities for all ages.
